东方西方文化融合，共创未来医学模式--第十一届世界中医药大会开幕式致辞

2014年10月1-2日，由世界中医药学会联合会（简称：世界中联）主办的“第十一届世界中医药大会”在俄罗斯圣彼得堡隆重举行。在“东方西方文化融合，共创未来医学模式”主题的凝聚下，会议探讨了关于如何进一步加快中医药国际化进程的诸多问题。本文是佘靖主席大会致辞，概况了11年来世界中医药大会的发展历程和取得的成果总结，并展望了中医药未来发展之路，言简意赅。我刊在此全文发表，以飨广大读者。

On Oct. 20-22, 2001, a commemorating meeting for the 20th anniversary on the founding of Chinese Association of Integration of Traditional and Western Medicine (CAIM) and the start publication of Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine (CJIM) was held in Xi'’an, 436 participants from various provinces and districts, as well as Taiwan province attended the meeting. Rapid development and outstanding achievements were summarized by Prof. Wei BEI-hai, Vice-President of CAIM. Since 1981, CAIM has held 12 international and 380 national academic conferences, 62,000 member-times participated the meetings, the CAIM member increased from 13,000 to 52,000 in 20 years. There are 57 integrated hospitals, over 30 integrated institutes, 10 integrated journals, 35 specialty committees nationwide. Some well-known scholars delivered special lectures, such as Prof. XU Xiao-jie of Peking University (“Chemistry and Chinese Medicine”), Prof. HOU Can from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences (“Unified Medicine of Post-Gene Era”), Prof. Yang Sze Piao of Taiwan Association of Integrated Medicine (“Education of New Generation Chinese Medical Practitioner of Taiwan”) and other 5 scholars'’ lectures. Deputy Director of Editorial Board CHEN Dong-yan reported that CJIM ( Chinese edition) has published 21 volumes, particularly the citation frequency listed 1st among 2 804 scientific journals in China 1999, indicating the quality of this journal is high. Prof. WANG Wen-jian of Shanghai has been elected as Vice President of CAIM, and Prof. ZHAO Jian-xiong elected as member of director board of CAIM. Prof. SHE Jin, on behalf of State Administration of TCM (SATCM), delivered a speech entitled “4 Famous Veteran TCM Practitioners in Beijing and Integrated Medicine” to congratulate the convening of the meeting. Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, President of CAIM Prof. CHEN Ke-ji chaired the meeting, he said, “Past 20 years was the developing and rapidly expanding 20 years under the governmental policy of ‘integrating Chinese and western medicine’ despite many difficulties have been conquered”, he strengthened in his opening speech, “This meeting would inspire the huge passion of engaging in integrating both medicines as well as creating in clinical practice, strive to rally together Chinese and western practitioners, to promote academic exchange of integrated medicine at home and abroad, so as to realize the modernization of Chinese medicine, enrich the world medicine and contribute to the health of mankind”.

The conference of “Health Care, East and West, Moving into the 21st Century” sponsored by Chinese Medical Association (CMA) and Harvard Medical School (HMS) was convened at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, USA on June 24-29, 2001. Around 600 participants from different well-known units of patient care, research, education and administration in China, and more than 600 medical specialists from health care societies in USA participated in this conference, including Prof. WU Jie-ping (Honorary President of CMA and Vice-Chairman of Standing Committee of Chinese People's Congress), Prof. ZHANG Wen-kang (President of CMA and Minister of Chinese Ministry of Health), Mr. John Kerry (American Federal Senator from Massachusetts), Prof. Lawrence Summers (President of Harvard University), and Prof. Joseph Martin (Dean of Harvard Medical School). This conference was a historic pageant of academic exchange with the largest scale between health systems in both China and USA. The scale of Chinese delegation was only next to that of Chinese gymnastic delegation in Olympic Games. This delegation consisted of experts from over 40 specialties in Chinese medical societies including 10 academicians from Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, and academic leader of different specialties as well as well-known experts in the world.

商业性行为与艾滋病的传播

The prevalence of HIV/AIDS infection has increased greatly in China. In order to strengthen the cooperation from all fields to improve efforts in preventing HIV/AIDS transmission in China, This paper has been put forward. Based on more than 25 previous publications and desk studies, this paper clarified the relationships between the commerical sex activities and the transmission of HIV/AIDS. Although the probability of HIV infection through sex intercourse is lower than the other routes in China, the major way of infection among the HIV positives is still through sexual contacts in the world, which accounts for 70% in the world. Heterosexual transmission would still be the major route of HIV transmission pattern in the future. This paper reviewed the on-going progress, achievements as well as the shortages and weakness on HIV prevention research and interventions, such as the methodology used in the research field to obtain the effective and valid data and information. Different kinds of theories and models are mentioned in view of theoretical guidance.

纳米生物传感器的研究

Point of care testing (POCT) based on biosensors has been recently received increasingly interesting in the world. Using biosensor technology for biomedical analysis has demonstrated many advantages. However, low cost and high accurate biosensors for clinical analysis, particularly for POCT is still a common problem for commercialization of the most biosensors[1, 2].In this work, it has the goals to develop materials (including nano materials) and methods for producing disposable biosensors capable with low cost, high reliability & sensitivity, robustness, low volume sample, and creating portable sensor systems (Figure 1) for testing human metabolites, biochemical markers without reagents. On top of the use of electrochemical method and Nano, MEMS technology, hemoglobin, creative kinase, alanine aminotransferas (ALT), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), glucose, lactate, ketone (β-Hydroxybutyrate), cholesterol have been tested using thin film electrode biosensors, modified with nanoporous and nanostructured materials (Figure 2). The electrxode has high surface-to-volume ratio and excellent hydrophilicity, thus the electrode possesses high catalytic activities for electrolytic processes and are ideal candidates for biosensors.It is significant for the applications in clinical diagnosis of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, home health care,sports, physical performance of athletes, blood screen. Glycated hemoglobin, creatine kinase MB (CK-MB), myoglobin, cardiac tropenin I (cTnI), cardiac troponin T (cTnT) are interesting to be tested for the next study.
