The Relationship between Medical Students' Depressive Disorder and Constitution of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)
Increasing morbidity of depressive disorder has become a serious factor affecting people's health and a great threat to life quality.The depressive disorder of medical students has drawn the whole society's attention in particular.The insecurity and dependency of many anti-depressants make people turn their attentions to TCM.Traditional Chinese doctors believe that depression attack occurs when patients' emotions get hurt,viscera's qi(vital energy)and blood function disorderedly,or brain and mind are weary.Chinese medicine constitution is closely relevant to the attack of certain diseases.Different individual constitutions cause the susceptibilities and tendencies of certain diseases.Constitutional relative stability and dynamic variability make regulations be possible.For this reason,we can take early targeted measures to change or improve weak constitution that caused by disordered functions of qi and blood,to reduce weak constitutional susceptibilities to diseases,and to prevent or delay the attack of diseases.
